In the छन्दस् (Vedas), the affix ठञ् comes in the remaining senses after the word हेमन्त.

In the छन्दस् (Vedas), the affix ठञ् comes in the remaining senses after the word हेमन्त।
This debars अण् 4.3.16. Thus सहश्च सहस्यश्च हैम꣡न्तिकावृतू ॥ The making of two separate Sutras of 20 and 21, is for the sake of the subsequent sutra, in which the anuvritti of word हेमन्त only is taken.
