Commentary

The force of 'and' is to include विच्. VI.20.7) 'one who gives liberally'; अश्वत्थामा 'the name of Asvatthaman'; सुधा + क्वनिप् = सुधी + वन् (VI.4 .66) = सुधीवन्, 1st. sing. सुपीवा 'a good drinker'. (Yaj. VI.19) ghee-drinker'.
The affix विच् is also included in this aphorism. IV. 3.6.) and Panini 7.3.46 'beautifully going'; रामस्योपदाः 'an offering of Rama.' (see sutra 3.3.106 and Yajur. Ved. XXX. 9).
