The affixes अण् (+/- -अ) and अञ् (+/- -अ) are respectively added to the words सार्वभूमि and पृथ्वी , in the above mentioned sense of 'a connection or a portent for its purpose'.

Commentary

The affixes अण् (+/- -अ) and अञ् (+/- -अ) are respectively added to the words सार्वभूमि and पृथ्वी , in the above mentioned sense of 'a connection or a portent for its purpose'.
This debars ठक्. Thus सर्वभूमेर्निमित्तं संयोग उत्पातो वा = सार्वभौमः, so also पार्थिवः ॥ In सार्वभौमः there is Vriddhi of both members of the compound by 7.3.20.
