The affix ढक् comes in the sense of 'nature or action thereof' after the words 1. कपि and 2. ज्ञाति.

Replace kapi-jñātyoḥ with ḍhak. Inherited words (anuvṛtti) may add further conditions.

The affix ढक् comes in the sense of 'nature or action thereof' after the words 1. कपि and 2. ज्ञाति।
Thus कपेर्भावः कर्म वा = कपियम्, ज्ञातेयम् ॥ The rule of यथासंख्य 1.3.10 does not apply any where under this head.
