The affix वुञ् comes optionally after the words 1. ग्रीष्म and 2. वसन्त in the sense of 'sown'.

This debars अण् 4.3.16. Thus ग्रैष्मम् or ग्रैष्मकम् सस्यम् 'the crop sown in summer'. वासन्तम् or वासन्तकम् ॥
