Operational rule vidhi

The कवर्गीय letter and the हकार of an अभ्यास are converted to an appropriate चवर्गीय letter.

Word by word (padaccheda)

कुहोः → चुः

Replace kuhoḥ with cuḥ. Inherited words (anuvṛtti) may add further conditions.

For the guttural and ह् of a reduplicate there is substituted a Platal.
As चकार, पखान, जगाम, जघान, जहार, जिहीर्षति, जहौ ॥
